Located in a little Coastal Cave House Design inside the Tramuntana region of Majorca, with amazing views from the Mediterranean Sea, is that the home of French fashion and furniture designer Alexandre de Betak. Inspired by cave dwellings, the interior takes with an organic form, even shelves appear to push forth from natural rock to cradle the family’s possessions.
Rustic wooden beams, doors and furniture warm the stone surroundings of the eco-friendly construction, and ceilings are cut away in seemingly random patterns of abat-jours inside the hallway. “For 10 years I‘d been dreaming about this, for five years I‘d been attempting to find a spot for it, for 2 yrs focusing on it, for an additional 2 yrs building it, and lastly here It‘s, ” said Alexandre de Betak inside an interview with T Magazine about his new home.
The house is stylized as cave so there aren‘t many straight angles. Everything inside and outside is made by Alexandre de Betak himself that is designer, an events producer, and art director, who’s worked on Dior’s and Rodarte’s fashion shows.
